This quality boutique resort on the banks of the Mae Kok River is within walking distance of the city center. The area around the resort is still undeveloped despite its proximity to the city, and there are spectacular views of the nearby mountains. Pleasant swimming and excellent spa, with treatments starting as low as 500 Baht for a 20-minute foot massage and climbing to 2,000 Baht for the 90-minute Royal Siamese body massage. For a high-priced resort the dining charges within the hotel are reasonable; room rates include a full American breakfast. In low season, May to October, a superior studio costs 3,400 Baht and a villa with private pool costs 7,600 Baht. That rises to 8,200 for the remainder of the year. Prices increase over the Christmas holiday. Least expensive accommodation runs 6,800 Baht a night and the most expensive 11,000 Baht.
